The Barn at Kline’s Mill is just around the corner from where we used to live! And I’ve known Kay, the owner of the barn and of Early Katering, since I was three! So it was fun to work at her place. We were so thankful for the air conditioned barn after being in the terrific heat of the day! The evening turned out to be so nice that the mother/father dances, toasts and cake cutting moved out doors! The DJ just opened a door and repositioned the speakers outside and the party continued.
Samantha (Sam) looked amazing in her custom made wedding dress. I think you’ll agree it was stunning on her! Most weddings we just talk about how beautiful the bride is but this wedding we have to talk about the groom too. Mark wore a custom made suit by David Alan. And he just started as a Style Consultant for David Alan Custom Clothing, which is pretty cool! Mark and Sam made a perfectly styled couple! Their family and friends came from a distance and it was clear everyone had a great time, the dance floor was full for hours! Their story started at the gym where Sam caught Mark’s eye while she was running (or was it walking?!) on the treadmill. Mark is a Muay Thai coach at Yamasaki Academy Woodbridge . Sam went to JMU to study some really smart things (Integrated Science and Technology) and currently is a contractor for the Army. Mark and Sam are a dynamic couple who we really enjoy being around. We are thankful to have been chosen to be a part of their day, thanks Mark and Sam!
I hope that these photos will bring back the joy of the day for them, their families, and friends.
The infamous dropping of the ring! I love the look on Mark’s face! Their ceremony was FULL of laughs. It all started with the debate of the details of when they first met at the gym. 🙂
Sam and Mark danced as a married couple for the first time to Wanted- Boyce Avenue (Hunter Hayes cover)
The Cookie Table, which I think is an excellent tradition!
Mark’s cousins (and a few friends) were totally funny on the dance floor, I was told the cousins are always the life of the party which is easy to believe!
I was totally impressed with all the dancing that Nana did!!
Six David Alan custom suits!
Mark has some of the best expressions!
Thanks to all the vendors that helped make this day a success!
