Megan and Adam came home from Texas to have their engagement photos done (I think they may have had some other things to do for the wedding too 😉 ).
We canceled the first session we planned because it was supposed to sleet and be terrible. It ended up not raining but it was freezing, so we were all very glad to reschedule for a much warmer evening. I hope Adam is recovered, he was the one who was the coldest!
We started out with Adam’s phone mysteriously jumping into the icky river that runs downtown. Not exactly how anyone wants to start a photo session! Megan loves brick walls so we kept our eyes open for brick walls which Downtown Harrisonburg has lots of great textures to play with. For a Saturday night it was pretty calm downtown, we only got whistled at or heckled a couple of times! We did see some guys in drag…not sure what was going on with that!
I can’t wait till someone else wants a night shoot downtown! It was really fun and now I even have more ideas of what we can do! Thanks Megan and Adam for being such good sports! (especially Adam for sticking with us girls!) I am really looking forward to your wedding in a couple of weeks!!!!!
And thanks to my niece who helped me out with holding the lights and for carrying all my stuff! You did a great job!
