Today on the blog is Kristen and Jorge’s wedding at Hermitage Hills Farm in Waynesboro, Va. Since Kristen and her family a horse people the farm was the perfect place for their wedding. We had to forgo doing photos with the horses because of the heat. Thankfully no one completely melted on their wedding day! The heat was amazingly high especially when I have been having thoughts of fall time!
Kristen has so many great details for her special day, from a diamond horse bracelet to her batman garters! Jorge had given her a Pandora bracelet to commemorate their wedding day and she had given him a liquor flask. I think my favorite item was her broach bouquet made by a friend (who is pictured in the reception photos). I think having silk flowers was a really good idea since there was no doubt fresh flowers would have been wilted within a hour in the intense heat. I also loved how she used their engagement photos for the party favors. She printed a variety from their session and put them in magnet holders. Each table at the reception had a different pottery vase and flower arrangement. It made for a varied and unique look.
Kristen & Jorge, thanks for choosing Aaron and I to be a part of your day.
Congrats you two!
Thanks to all the vendors!
