What a fun wedding day! Aaron and I had a great time getting to know Jen and John’s families. One of the really special things about this wedding was all the meaningful details that were incorporated in the day, from a Scottish oathing stone to a great grandmother’s wedding dress! Each guest picked up a stone on the way in and prayed a blessing for the couple holding the stone then gave it back when they parted. Special jewelry was worn, engraved cuff links and rings and even a car were among details we captured.
Thanks to all the friends, family and great vendors who helped to make this day a success!

This lovely fabric was part of Jen’s great-grandmother’s wedding dress which was sewn into her wedding gown! The diamond under Jen’s ring belonged to her grandmother. The rosary and cameos all belonged to grandmothers in Jen’s family. I think it is so special to have items that go back so many generations!
It stopped raining just in time for the First Look!!!!!See Great-grandmother’s dress piece?!
I loved the bag pipe recessional! There is something so powerful about well played bag pipes!Jen’s mom and grandmother both had their wedding photo taken by this door at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church so on our way to the reception we made a quick stop!
